eBanking - but secure!

The Internet Explorer 11 browser has become somewhat obsolete, and Microsoft recommends to no longer use it with immediate effect.

A whole era of browser generations was characterised by the predominance of Microsoft Internet Explorer. When publishing Windows 10 in the year 2015, this long-standing Windows staple was replaced by the Edge browser and has been merely updated with security and compatibility patches ever since.

Now Microsoft has published a statement recommending that all Windows users change over to a different browser with immediate effect. Internet Explorer is no longer to be used as a standard browser to access web-based services such as online shopping, news portals or e-banking by private individuals in particular.

As an alternative, Microsoft recommends their own Edge browser which is to be completely revised over the next few weeks to comply better with all current web standards. Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are also to be recommended for use as standard browsers.
